Congratulations to Dr. Anne Sophie Czerniak (C08) - Best Doctoral Thesis Award

Dr. Anne Sophie Czerniak (C08) project, supervised by Prof. Annette Beck- Sickinger, received the 2023 doctoral thesis prize in the scientific discipline "life sciences". The title of the awarded doctoral thesis was: " Extra- and Intracellular Interactions of the Chemerin Receptor Family".

Leipzig University awards doctoral thesis prizes in to outstanding doctoral researchers in the three scientific fields of humanities and social sciences, natural sciences and life sciences . On the Doctoral Researchers' Day, 12 November 2024, the Graduate Academy Leipzig awarded the prizes for dissertations completed in 2022 and 2023. The prizes, each worth 1000 EUR were awarded by Prof. Roger Gläser, Vice-Rector for Talent Development and Dr. Kornelia Ehrlich, Managing Director of the Graduate Academy Leipzig, at a ceremony in Villa Tillmanns.
