The CRC 1052 Summer School took place from June 10th to 12th, 2024. All CRC 1052 doctoral researchers and associated members were invited to participate. The summer school spanned three full days. We organized data blitz sessions, including poster sessions, to get new insights into the research of our collaborative research centre subprojects and to allow networking.
The schedule also offered a skilling workshop. This year we encouraged our graduate school members to participate in “Know your competencies, find your job" training. The participants could discuss their personal career goals and learn how to build their career strategy. Additionaly, the speaker of the IRTG, Prof. Torsten Schöneberg, in his lecture "Finish your thesis", shared his tips for scientific writing, tailored especially for the doctoral thesis writing.
Lastly, an obesity prevention session in the gym hall completed our event. Volleyball and Badminton have intensively challenged doctoral researchers.
